Jep, I know the problem. My Mom always tells me that I used to be a cute baby and then she asks me WTF happened to me :( My Mom is cruel. But the "inner beauty" is more important, isn't it?! :D
My mum (Gimli) think's I'm the most beatiful person in the world, but as they say love is blind ;) Hey and I bet you're not, your mums just being weird!
I know the feeling; my mom always gives me this line: "You could be so beautiful if..." followed by a sundry of quips from her most recent clippings of Redbook, Prevention, or some other 'high' fashion magazine.
Not that I fault her for trying to encourage me, or that I feel particularly uncomfortable with my own 'gorgeous self' but there are mirrors in the house, I am not legally blind, and when I asked for the body of a goddess - I got baba yaga's. So, I just know that shading my brown eyeshadow outward in an oval instead of a circle just isn't going to change all that much.
And, yeah, Inner beauty is my 'thang', too; it's the only kind that doesn't fade.
You're so cute!
