Christmas on the Beach!

Right now I am currently in Gulf Shores, AL, enjoying the 70 degree weather under sunny skies. I spent some time on the beach yesterday which was very nice and relaxing. My sister and Mike's apartment is really nice, as well as my cousin's home. The neighborhood they live in is gorgeous and they just have to walk a block down the street to sit on their pier on Perdido Bay. It all makes me want to move down here myself. I wouldn't mind it in the least bit. Who wants to join me? The only thing I don't like about it down here is there is no artsy culture here. They don't have an area similar to Bardstown Rd., which is no surprise for a small beach town in Alabama, but I wouldn't like living without that. Everyone is very southern and proper, which is nice, but only in small doses. It's a different experience to be down here and not in a rented beach house. I'm getting a taste of the life down here and it's very slow and relaxed. I don't know if I would be ready to live that kind of life yet, but it would be nice someday.

I just missed the beach so much, I needed my annual hit. I think I'll be ok until next summer.
