sick work
Despite sleeping through most of yesterday I managed to finish that dress... well, almost finish anyway. I've still got to add the green silk ribbons to the front and may do something with the cuffs, like ruching... like this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Trinquesse1.jpg but in contrasting color on the sleeves (the green) and the bows in front would be tied each time, not fixed bows.
Still feel yucky, but Motrin is taking care of most of the headache / muscle aches, and the sore throat is going away on it's own. Drinking lots of tea. Still have a small cough, but not bad.
I'm probably not going to make it to KLR this weekend. Alas, for I really wanted to go. But it's generally a bad idea to make your customers ill. "Hi, buy a shirt/shift from me. I'll throw in muscle aches, headache, fatigue, cough and sore throat for free. If you buy something else I'll include the fever at no extra cost!" Yeah, that'd work.
As soon as Dad gets off the (other) computer and I eat breakfast, I'll update my blog and my web site.
