Skiing, driving and crashing
My great weekend crashed. Not literally (though it could have).
I got my own pair of downhill skis a few weeks ago and got to try them out yesterday, they where great. I didn't even fall down once and I could go really fast without trying.
But then I tried to check my e-mail and discovered that my parents SBC account wasn't working, then my dad yelled at me for using his computer without asking even though I'd asked my mom (this is why I want my own laptop). Then I couldn't sleep because he was snoring all night.
This morning it was snowing so hard that we couldn't go ice-skating or build a snow fort and then we had to rush and get ready to go so we didn't get stuck. I wish we had instead we drove home in blizzard conditions. At one point I had to get out and de-ice the windshield wipers, and when we got to Costco I discovered that my purse had fallen out of the car. My ATM card, library card, Borders card, all the ticket stubs I've collected since November (including the pass from Disney World) and gone, so is my copy of Legacy of the Force: Tempest. But the worst thing is my wallet, it was a hand made leather wallet with a horse on it and a flower border. My friend Katie made it, it won first place at a fair, and she gave it to me for my fourteenth birthday. I miss Katie, she moved and I haven't been able to get a hold of her. She was always eager to talk about Sirius or Sisterhood of the Traveling pants and she loved band.
I've been crying pretty much non-stop since then. That wallet means a lot to me, almost as much as the fan fic book I got for Christmas this year.
I really hope someone finds it. It probably covered in snow by now though. And Allegiance just got in at the library but I don’t have my card so I can’t get it. Plus with all the cash I lost I’m going to be broke for a while.
