(no subject)
Well, well, where have I been? Staying up late into the night each night this week to make pretty beaded things for a show that was well run, and lovely, but a complete flop since there weren't enough customers to fill a bus. A work friend bought a pair of $15.00 earrings, and that was it for my sales that day. My booth mate fared far better.
I'm starting to think that we jinx shows or something.
I have a nasty sunburn on my back today. I managed to apply heavy duty sunblock everywhere except for a square of skin in the middle of my back that was exposed by the top I was wearing. Ow.
In other news, I'm still deep in the throes of fangirl crush on The Decembrists (I've liked the band a while, but the fangirl crush is new) and listening to The Hazards of Love far more than can possibly be good for me. I may try to influence you to listen to it too, by saying things like ZOMG THIS IS THE BEST CONCEPT ALBUM IN THE LAST 35 YEARS AND YOU NEED IT NOWNOWNOWNOW!!!! but rest assured that it's just the fangirl talking.
