GAH, what a place to leave it!

And is this 18 or 19? The title says one thing and the cut says another. :-)

Whoops. 19.

It was all originally going to be 18, but it expanded into 2 and a half chapters!
This chapter was going to be 2400 words, so I chopped it. And created an extra cliffhanger, bwah.

My Old Doctor Who upbringing is showing. They ended every segment on a cheesy cliffhanger.

Oh gods yes, I remember the Tom Baker days. ;-)

Still, awesome work. :-) Just in case I didn't make that clear before. ;-)

ok i was bad and read this while at work. gotta love the psychotic children, makes me think of my four nephews and more often than not their extended family cousins. O.o Wakka is sooooooo not happy with Auron right now. heehehehehehe!

Psychotic...hee! I wasn't so much aiming for psychotic as "permanent sugar high, obviously related to Rikku." I guess I'm used to weird kids! :D

nah I use psychotic quite frequently to describe weird kids, including the nephews when they are on their sugar highs. :D

Just loved the family insanity going on... vandevere December 2 2008, 23:56:37 UTC
Having three neices, i can vouch, personally, that children really are that was.

So cute to see Auron surrounded by giggling kids.

I am, however, worried about Cid, and Home. Hope he's okay, and Brother too...

Agh, the cactuar game slays me. And Isaaru's good-natured playing-along.

Poor, disbelieving Wakka. Still so busting with that dogmatic passion, no matter what side he's playing.

Yuna's an interesting case. I approve of paranormally-blessed creepy children, always.

So layered and well-balanced. You're almost surpassing the original with all these plot-threads. Good stuff.

I'm glad you don't find the paranormal-child archetype cheesy. It's one of my favorites, in small doses.
