You might see me fiddling around with my layout at the moment. It's a bit like road works isn't it, it can be disrupting and shake up your sense of the familiar. A "hey what?" moment :)
I just get so bored and I'm always looking for one that's just right, except that after seeing it time and again it gets stale. I like the Expressive ones (like this one) because they show the list of entries per page, which I find helpful. But some others have cleaner features but you aren't able to manipulate them so much.
You can tell I'm really bored at work can't you? To be perfectly honest, if I worked as fast as I would naturally, I wouldn't have anything to do anyway.
FOUR WEEKS TO GO!!
I'm off to Muskoka this weekend, it's a long weekend so won't be back till Monday. And Adam got the last week of August off so we'll spend the entire week plus September long weekend at the cottage as well, it's the only holiday we get really. The cats will miss us I'm sure, and I'll get way behind on LJ too. But we both need the break.
Oh but good news: Adam's been offered another contract, this one as a Research Analyst at a higher rate of pay, for six months. Which is wonderful because what with me soon out of work it would have been really bad if he'd had to look for another job and all.
Bookclub meeting tonight, for True at First Light, then tomorrow after work I have an optometrist appointment, and on Friday I'm only at work until 10:30 am, after which I really should go and get my student card, before the queues get bad (but I'm really exhausted this week, so may be too lazy). So, busy week, and work is busy too though everything's been done and I don't have anything important or urgent to do, so I'm messing with LJ again.
