off for a bit
Quick post here because we're about to leave for the cottage - coming back on Monday. Yay!
Just have a few things to say...
1. If The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery is your ultimate comfort read, then you absolutely have to read Frenchman's Creek by Daphne du Maurier - and if you haven't read The Blue Castle, you should!!
2. We have something like 70 tv channels, but do you think there is a single thing on worth watching? I don't know why we bother.
3. So much for keeping my to-read list under 500. How is it I keep buying books even though I'm unemployed? hm. I don't have a car, I don't buy clothes or shoes (which I sorely need), I don't have bills aside from phone, internet and tv, and the rent's taken care of for the next few months. Still, I really shouldn't...
