Wow.

I owe you one Kelly!

I've just watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and I am totally in love.

This is all because of madhowan's crazy icons that had me perplexed and, when I asked what the hell "shiny new Australia" was all about, first heard about Joss Whedon's short movie.

Aside from a shakey first couple of minutes, I loved Dr. Horrible. Do you watch Castle?

Castle? I'm thinking no, since I don't recognise the name even! I don't watch a lot of telly, to be honest. What's it about?

Nathan Fillion's new show. Here's the link: www.castletv.net

It's my favorite new show this year :)

I hadn't even heard of it! It it's HBO or something then that would explain it. Seems like all the good shows are on channels you have to pay extra for.

It's one of those shows where the premise sounds like it'd work better for a movie than a long-running tv show, but they seem to have the ratings so far, so perhaps I'm wrong. Nathan Fillion is a crime novelist, and when someone starts reproducing the murders from his novels, the police turn to him for assistance. And of course the lead detective is an attractive woman who provides a romantic interest for him, yadda yadda. Once that first case is solved, I guess he sticks around as a specialist advisor? Or something? I'm not really sure, but I do remember thinking it would make a better movie concept.

It may be a bit of a stretch getting a tv series out of it, you're right, but it does sound interesting. Though the premise sounds like Basic Instinct doesn't it.
