http://coconutlime.blogspot.com/2009/10/pumpkin-five-spice-sweet-rolls.html great concept, but Coco needs to review her recipe writing skills -- some things weren't mentioned after the ingredient list, the yeast quantity was insane (I at least knew enough to reduce that), it wasn't clear how thin to roll the stuff, and the butter should have been melted, not creamed for the layers. I'm not sure how much of the pumpkin I tasted in the rolls themselves, but the 5-spice with the dark brown sugar was excellent. We sliced it into 3rds, so I still have 2 more "logs" of this (5 rolls each) in the freezer for future brunches or snacks or whatever.
So basically, use this recipe as inspiration, then cross-reference with any cinnamon-roll techniques you or a more reliable cookbook have for a less-frustrating assembly. I may also use this spice mix for 1/3 of the "monkeys" in my next batch of monkey bread.
