we got a lot of blueberries at costco the other day (I think Ironkite has a brewing experiment planned), and once the
storm hits tonight, I think I'll make this open-faced half-baked blueberry pie:

The half-and-half nature of the berries is what intrigues me about this one -- some of the reviewers have a different breakdown of raw:cooked and a few more moderate spices added. And like most desserts from all-recipes, I plan to drastically reduce the sugar.
