Mochi Time!

So there's this Asian market that just opened a few blocks away from my house, and I picked up some mochiko the other day.

Today I made mochi filled with azuki paste, and it wasn't terrible! : D It's better than the stuff you buy frozen and boil to cook, anyways. That stuff kind of feels like those sticky eyeball toys when you pick them up.

The best part is that they're gluten, dairy, and egg free so most everyone can eat them. Unless you can't eat sugar, that is.
