Hey, Anne! It's really stupid, but... er, could you translate something for me?

Bitte entscheide dich, ich bin zu verknallt in dich um das auszuhalten<./i>

Well... just if you can. Sorry to drop by so randomly!

See you o/

Uh, yeah, let's try (grammer might be wrong but this should give you the general idea):

Please make your decision, i have such a huge crush on you that i just can't bear (stand, withstand) it.

*laughs* I hope you weren't late!

Yeah, sure. A friend of mine has a boyfriend... sort of... from Austria, see, and she hasn't decided whether she wants to be with him. So he wrote that on her tennis shoes, and she was curious as to what he meant. She used Google, but I think the word 'verknallt' is... difficult to translate? I don't know. So I remembered I had you! *grins*

Austria? Austrians can't talk probably anyway. Ups, i didn't just say that aloud write that, did i? ;-) Well, it's true - at least in my nothern German opinion (the Bavarians can't speak either :p).

Verknallt is indeed a difficult word to translate because it's youth language (i wouldn't use it)... but i guess 'having a crush on sb" is the closest translation.

On her tennis shoes...?!

Good to know that i am useful ;-)

*laughs* Ooh, I sense some age-old rivalry there. xD

Hm, I see. *nods* Interesting. German slang, Christ.

... Yeah. He's weird. And her All-Stars have a few things written on the sides. *shrugs* Not my style, but people like that xD

Aw. ^_^ You were extremely useful. He refused to tell us, and we were all wondering.

... *grins* what gives you that idea?! ;-) oh! i just remember a "nice" comment from the radio before a soccer game: "After all: Barvarians are a mix between human and Austrian" Nah... i don't mind the Austrians (a good friend of mine is Austrian) - they just can't talk.

ouch - i just remembered that i have to go to my cousin's wedding in Bavaria. Damn. I won't be able to understand anything. I'll need a translator!
