Its finals week of another semester and I'm up, not exactly bright and early but earlier than you would have caught me 3 years ago. But now isnt about nostalgia, I just want to reflect on today and what I'm doing right now.
Morning coffee: not necessarily a ritual for me but when you wake to discover your coffee pot is broken during finals week, you start to appreciate what you had. I'm listening to The Hushsound and picking out my outfit for today since the only thing I really HAVE to do is work 1230-5. I plan on folding some clothes and not wasting this rainy morning.
Goals for the day:
-Work and do well at it
-Stay upbeat and positive
-Copy Cognition notes
-Italian on line quizzes or doing some vocab quizzes.
-Clean up my kitchen and bedroom
-Engage in a focused and open hearted prayer
I am feeling really good this morning which is a nice surprise since this semester wasnt exactly one for the books. #blessed.
One of the ways that I try to stay motivated is to read blogs of other motivated young women. Here are two of my favorites. Both of these young women are focused on personal growth, strength, and health. They chronicle their lives in their own words and have offered insight and inspiration to me as I begin my own journey to a brighter, lighter me.
Keeping Up With Katie Think and Grow Chick Anyone else have sources of motivation for them selves? Perhaps a pinboard, blog, or group? Do tell!
