The Best Weekend ever!!!
I should be on the best week ever!!! Really, I should. Friday night Sythe dragged me out of the house kicking and screaming to go to the first night of the Dart Room Masque and Veil. I had a long day at the shop with no piercings and I just did not want to go out. When we got there we headed straight for the bar to order a drink and who was only feet from me... the one.. the only... VOLTAIRE!!!! I got a drink and sat and stared at him for about half an hour and then we decided it was time to leave. I wanted to go talk to him, but at that moment he wasnt the god I have been waiting to meet for years, he was a really hot guy sitting at a bar with him friends and I thought it would be inappropriate to introduce myself as one of his crazy fans. I think it sounds right, everyone else thinks that I am crazy. Anyway... Saturday afternoon he played a set at Hastings and did some signings. Before he played, I introduced myself, red as a tomato from head to toe and bought his live album for him to sign. When I walked away, I was such a loser, I was smiling from ear to ear and red from head to toe. He played an awesome little witty, funny set with four songs. It was fun, very intimate, not lot of people. After, I asked for a picture and we took a few myspace pictures, but I look stupid cause I am smiling so big and I am so red. So.. I wa all giddy and shit during work and then I was off for the show at the dart room. When he grabbed his guitar and went onstage I ran up there, but there was a huge man in front of me and after a fe songs of my screaming and singing my heart out he let me in front of him. It was so fuckin wicked to see him live, but I did not want it to end. I was right in front of him, directly in front of him. Then, Liam sang some of when youre evil with him, I was so jealous, I wanted that to be me, but nothing better than a gay clown huh? I had a few beers and Sythe bought me a Deady bear which I then had Sythe sign along with my ticket for the night, then I got a few more pictures and a huge hug that I will never, ever forget. It was a great night, I got to meet the man I have been wanting to meet for almost six years!!! I will be living off that happy energy for months!
Sunday Beau and I drove to Eureka Springs for dress rehearsal for the haunt. We got parts that we were both kind of wanting and it was good times. The lady that is doing my makeup though sucks ass. I felt like I had been hit in the face repeatedly for ten minutes and my makeup looked like absolute crap. And a guy I work with called me a beached whale. Fuck him. So Amri told me to leave my drama at the door, but I hadnt said a sigle thing to anyone, I guess I just had a bad look on my face, I dunno. It is stupid. People dont really get me most of the time. I screamed my lungs out and not I have no voice. Woot!
