At least it is a little less hot today

I really don't like heat. It makes me cranky. I prefer Autumn/winter. Really, cold is much easier to deal with.
This morning I went for my bloodwork. I really am hoping they don't find anything new. Well, maybe I am hoping for finding something new, IF it is treatable and I will end up feeling better. One day they will sort out my thyroid. Maybe. I think I will be asking my doctor if T3 (Not Tylenol 3!!!) when used in combination with my T4 might not improve my life! I still feel very tired a lot of the time and kind of depressed. I am already taking a really high dose of synthroid(T4). My bloodsugar wasn't controlled well when I was in St. John's (stress, irregular mealtimes) but I have it back on track now - so hopefully the results of that bloodwork look good. I hope I can go off the heart meds - but truthfully I don't think I will ever be able to. I do see more gym time in my future - it is just too darn hot to go right now. The gym doesn't have A/C.
So at my largest I was about 265 pounds. I have now broken the 200 mark - I now weigh 191. Yay me!
Still need to lose some more (for health reasons!!!! believe me)
Mike is on leave now - oh happy happy days! Then he goes on course for 7 months. So he will be home a lot this year. Eileen is thrilled that he'll be here for her birthday on September 5. She'll be 9 this year. Where does the time go? I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. I didn't get any drugs for either of the kid's births! Next year she will be in the double digits - and almost a teen. Can't wait for those days! Buying gifts for her is getting difficult - that age where she doesn't really play with her toys much anymore but isn't thrilled with getting lots of clothes either. Scholar's Choice is awesome though - they have "Birthday Buckets". The tops of their shelving are filled with large bins. You take your child to the store and a bin get labelled with their name, birthday and age. They then get to fill the bucket with things that they want. Anybody can go to the store and choose gifts from the child's bucket. Gifts don't get duplicated unless there is more than one of an item in the bucket. It's brilliant. We love Scholar's Choice - such great toys and art supplies!

I am almost done staining our deck - I love the colour (Woodland green).
Not sure I'll be getting new garb done for the 29th. We'll see.
