Brrrrrr....

Everything's just not coming up roses... yeesh!

Got up this morning... normal day, perhaps like any other day... showered, dressed, makeup, brushed my hair.... just another boring day.

Then my keys were moved... Now, mind you, I have no clue where said keys are, they have vanished off into the neverworld... poor keys, I miss thee.

Well, after waiting until 8:30 for my dad to get back and provide me with spare keys... (my class started at 8 AM), I started out to school, expecting to speed just a "little bit" in order to make it here for about 8:45-ish.

Enter Ice and Traffic.

Now for those of you who have yet to experience a true Canadian level winter... it is bloody fucking freezing. I mean REALLY cold... like -32*C without windchill cold.... Edmonton is worse, it dropped to -37*C sans wind chill there... and that is really damn cold.

So I arrived at Campus. Still Cold. Really Cold. Trekked down to photo, found that nobody was in fact there. We have I-disk Key FOBs to let us in, mine, was on the aforementioned lost keys, so I banged on the door. Nobody answered. I was having issues with my tripod, so I went back up to the instructor office. Nobody home.

Grr.

Headed back down to the basement again.... and across the building to the photo labs (maybe they didn't hear me?) banged on the door again. Once again. No Answer.

At this point, I gave up and loaded myself back up with equiptment.... my laptop weighs about 10 million pounds, because my textbooks are in the case with said laptop... Loaded down like a Sherpa's Pack Mule, I started across campus dressed only in my sweatshirt and jeans to my next class.... holding a metal tripod.... you have never felt cold wussies. Never.

I'm here now, apparently "learning" illustrator, which, I by and large, already know... but that's ok... at least the class is fairly amusing to me, and relatively fun.

Ooo, Pen Tool. Huzzah. 3 entire classes devoted solely to the pen tool? Overkill? Mayhaps.... we shall soon see.

Well, I think I'll actually work in class today, bye children!
