I was worried because I broke my pinky toe before the trip.
Disneyland rocks. It was clean and the people were lovely. I got to go on the Tea Cups!!! I love them! WoW boyfriend made it a goal to make me sick on them which is a long standing Disneyland tradition of some import. I was very dizzy, but so incredibly happy. They made me go on "Its A Small World" and it wasn't bad at all! I really admired all the work that went into it. Space Mountain was a LOT better than the movie. The pirate movies are better than the ride. I got mouse ears. I got a button for it being my first time. My friends got buttons!
We went to see Johnny Vatos and the Rest of Oingo Boingo. I like the Vigdis. We danced lots. She warned me she was a fan girl and I decided I didn't care if I made an ass of myself, I was going to dance. We actually did twin hair flips at one point. She had on a spangly shirt that made everything sparkle like glitter. My toe really started hurting and I got whiny. I was leaning on my friend Fritz, who was probably mildly appalled at my behavior. Then they played weird science. I landed hard and it stopped hurting. My toe is all curled over the way I like it now. I really had fun dancing and the hall was quite nice.
BlizzCon was there. I don't do well in huge crowds and it was more crowded than Disneyland. At least at Disneyland you can see if the people are armed. I made the WoW boyfriend tank through the crowd and I hung out with Vigdis' aunt and uncle, who I like very much. I got through about half of the hall before hunger and the need to be away from crowds hit, so Mr Tank and I went back to the hotel for lunch. I had drinks for lunch because it was vacation! Then back to BlizzCon for more fun.
I had to fly back to Oakland in the morning so I went over to Fritz' house as he was taking me to the airport. I flew in and Rhiannon pulled up as I walked out of the airport. We zipped up to Napa and I got to play Baroness at the feast. Everything went off pretty well. I am thrilled at how smooth things were with the extensive travel plans.
