Character Information
Name: Gabrielle Monsigny
Source Canon: The 3rd Birthday
Age: 29
Role In Canon:

A member of the Counter Twisted Investigation (CTI) and an ex-SWAT sharpshooter, Gabrielle handles the long-range shooting missions for Aya. Her role in the game is willingly letting Aya use her body to Overdive into three days prior to save one of their co-workers/soldiers from dying.

She is also the only female companion that Aya has during the game and while Gabrielle's screen time is a bit limited, it's apparent that Aya has an easier time talking to Gabrielle than she does with the male co-workers... and an easier time being flustered around her as well.
History: Wiki link here. I am taking her from post-episode 2.
Personality:

While Gabrielle may come off as unapproachable or cold at first, she's actually a very warm and caring person who's worked hard for where she's come into her job as a sniper. Underneath her guarded (and somewhat haughty) demeanor, is someone who cares deeply for other's-even going so far as to sacrifice herself just to keep them safe.

It would be nearly impossible that anyone would guess she's a sniper, with how she dresses and holds herself. Out of all the CTI members, except Hyde, she keeps herself the most put together-even going so far to have an entire paragraph in her biography file about her looks. Beauty and fashion is not all that Gabrielle is about though, she's a hard-worker and is rewarded for how hard she strives. She's top in the physicals and marksmanship contest, even hand-picked by Hyde Bohr himself to join CTI.

That's not to say she isn't concerned with looks and upkeep. "Someone taught me that taking care of your grooming is part of a pro's job," Aya says to herself, and while she doesn't say who that someone is, one might speculate it's Gabrielle. Even in the middle of an apocalypse, Gabrielle still keeps up with her fashion and having a physically fit body. Sitting off the edge of a helicopter in heels and a dress, with her nails painted, she still keeps her focus on the mission ahead of her (or rather, below her).

Gabrielle has a tendency to joke around and pick fun at her co-workers. Even with Hyde, who is cold and doesn't seem to have a single funny bone inside of him at all, she makes a statement about how she thought he was an eternal bachelor after he said Cray was a part of their "family". She's also known to flirt with Aya, like making comments on the different outfits she wears such as "Looking hot!" or when she notices Aya staring at her (after she sees Gabrielle is alive when she died 2 months prior) and tells her she knows she likes what she sees, but she's taken.

Deep down, Gabrielle cares deeply for Aya. Not only as a co-worker, but as someone she wants to protect. She feels a close connection with Aya, for years earlier, she had a partner she worked with named Rebecca-who was fatally shot in the back during a mission they worked on together. Even after all the years had passed and the few months she took off, she still couldn't help but feel that in a way, Aya was like Rebecca. Thus, giving her a second chance to protect her and keep her safe from the Twisted's harm. The first time Gabrielle dies is during a Twisted attack on a CTI and Army training ground; she protects Aya, who blames herself for Gabrielle becoming harmed, and tells her that she's sweet, before ultimately facing the fate of death.

Even with how warm she is to those she cares about, Gabrielle does have a cold, revengeful side to her. When she fell in love with a team member and found out he was a spy working for an overseas corporation, she reported him to her superiors and he was executed. Her karmic punishment for the execution, as she states, was falling in love with someone who was a spy in the first place. When the Spanish Harlem mission doesn't go right the first time and Cray ends up dying, she firmly tells Aya that it's time for revenge against the Twisted.

As Aya changes the past throughout the game, she has a second chance at keeping Gabrielle alive. That is until she calls over the radio distressed during the mission at the Spanish Harlem, telling Aya not to come find her. It turns out that Gabrielle is infected with a Twisted and becomes a more advanced version of the mysterious monsters called a "High One," a Twisted that has free conscious thought, but is still unable to control what happens to them and what they do. Forced to take her down, Aya defeats Gabrielle-who accepts her death once more-as she becomes both written out of the present and the mission three days prior.

Abilities:

As stated before, Gabrielle is an excellent sharpshooter. She's worked for both the LAPD and SWAT, and was hand-picked by Hyde Bohr himself to be a part of CTI. She's number one in the marksmanship contests that are held in CTI, along with being number one in the work physicals. Her HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) parachute skills are amongst the best.

When turned into a High One, her appearance changes into what looks like a giant beehive. With these powers she is unable to release bee-like Twisted (either to create a force field for herself or to attack individually) and shoot powerful beams in a quick, constant stream.

There are two different variations of her Twisted form, as well. A first one that is a golden-yellow colour and the second one that is a mix of grey and purple.
