Long time no updates. I really have no excuses, apart from being lazy. There has been lots of things going on, but mainly about my personal life (i.e. university), so nothing super important.
The important thing is that I'm going to London next saturday! Jay!
It's a eight-day-trip with my two friend. The real reason for this excursion is a musical called
Wicked. It was a huge success in USA and it is currently playing in London's Apollo Victoria theatre. I love the soundtrack and I am so exited to be able to see the musical myself!
Right now we are making the final preparations for the journey. I planned to visit The Museum of Costume in Bath, but at the moment it seems that I have not enough time to go there (and I am a little bit scared of the idea of traveling there alone). Nevertheless, I still get to see Victoria and Albert Museum and Museum of London (and Tate Britain and National Gallery and many many more).
I promise to post pictures when I come back. I also promise to sew more and update more often. Really.
And while I'm at it, I read
padawansguide's post about rants and expressing you own opinion. I can just say that I agree with her, and I have always admired the way the costuming community (historical and movie costumers alike) always support and encourage each other. Even if the costumes are not nearly perfect, the important thing is to have fun together. I hope and believe this will be the case also in future. :-)
