You were here once before, but... it doesn't seem like you remember it. That's often the case here. The same thing has happened to Arumat and Lymle as well, although Lymle was recently sent back.

I should be more clear - this is a world in which we are trapped by a barrier and are kept here by the Malnosso. It's somewhat complicated.
