Hey, this thing is still around. Who knew? Funny the things you discover when you're bored and WoW is down for extended maintenance.

Mmm, off to rediscover the Facebook now. HI EVERYONE!

Pfft. Facebook is boring. Back to trolling forums?

No! :)

Um, I mean, I haven't "gotten" the expansion yet. I was gonna transfer the Sims 3 over to the new computer, but I don't wanna fuck my CD burner like the last one.

LOL. Talk Sims 2 then. =D

I mean, if you notice my new "Sims Talk Icon..."

I deleted Sims 2! I still have them all, but I made room on the laptop for 3, and then just have been too lazy to download the expansion. Plus then I have to update my mods and stuff.

Honestly, I don't like 3 as much. It's too...forced. Starting a Legacy in 3 just isn't the same. It doesn't inspire me.

I thought the same thing, actually. I think the problem is that there's not enough artificial stupidity anymore. I miss the peeing in the pants, set the kitchen on fire, and whine for me to send them to bed stupidity.

It's too easy. There's just no challenge to it anymore, and damn it, I miss having a whole Legacy 'hood with third cousins marrying and having affairs with second aunts. Plus, building sucks in 3. I may just delete and reinstall all of 2 again, just to play some Legacy.

They too things too much towards "realism" and forgetting the cartoony slapstick was kinda a big part of the fun from before. Like, for example, the lack of Alien Rape Babies.

And what the HELL is with them not putting in a Hot Tub? Oh, that's right, download content. They haven't gone stupid. Just evil.

Incidentally, I should send you some of the homes I designed in 2 and 3, based upon Sears Home blueprints.

Pfft. You mean, download from the Store?

No, thanks. I let other people do that for me. I just download their downloads. Plus, playable ghosts? Nu uh! Gimme back my alien butt babies!

Well, I like the Ghosts, I mean, it is a new life state.

I miss stupid things like the Glorious Cold Cereal Microwave Fire. (No, I STILL don't know how that happened.)

My Paranoia from Sims 1 and 2 means if I can't give a hairy eyeball on all my Sims at the same time, I tend to await the imminent Fire Alarm, or Inappropriate Behavior Slap, or some other Horror of the AI.

One thing I really don't like about Sims 3, is that if you were trying to socialize with another Sim, if you don't load up their conversation queues, they seem to just stand there and stare at each other alot. At least with Sims 2, I could just load up "Chat" 2 or 3 times, and be sure they'd be chatting away happily till their bladders gave out, then pass out in their own puddle, and then die of starvation.

That's just it. You make them happy enough, they don't do ANYTHING. At all. I tend to let them free will a lot and just observe. If they screw up their lives, so be it. But 3 ruined all of that.

Oh, it's not even that. They're good now at making themselves happy. I now have to intervene to force unhappiness.

It's the Sims themselves doing all the amusement, really. I'm just their Old Testament-ish Style God. Just shaking my head, and smiling, and thinking "You couldn't possible be that dumb..."

Getting use to trusting the Sims to not regularly imperil themselves and/or demand my aid is hard, considering that since the dawn of Sim, that's what they needed. Most common being the pee themselves, set themselves on fire, and flirt with everything in sight...

Personal favourite was the Asylum challenge. You can only control one Sim, in a household of eight unrelated Sims. Of course, when they get a job and leave the lot, that was when the real fun began. I lost five to the same kitchen fire in the spam of a few Sim hours. It even bugged through the wall and killed the guy in the shower.

...that's it, I'm goin' back to Sims 2. Long live the stupidity! (And alien ass babies)

Hehe. BTW, has a Valentine?

My one hope for Sims 3 is that someone will make a mod that gives ALL Sims the "Inappropriate" trait, so they'd act more like their Sims 2 selves. (Sink Bathing. A lot.)
