Team Riley

POKEMON

Riley's teams are vaguely based round the ones that he has in the Battle Tower/Battleground.

Lucario, Level 65, M

Inner Focus, Modest, Often lost in thought

> Aura Sphere
> Flash Cannon
> Bone Rush
> Close Combat

Riley's starter, main battler and constant companion. Often by his side when he goes out. Very rarely kept in a Pokeball. Carries many of the same characteristics as Riley, including his ability to use aura. If his trainer comes into any sort of danger, then he is ferocious and goes on the offensive. Sleeps on the floor beside Riley's bed.

Note: Riley's Lucario is different from SSBB's Lucario, who is based somewhat off Sir Aaron's Lucario from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie. Both Riley's and SSBB Lucario have the same fighting style (aura/close combat based) but Riley's Lucario does not communicate with other humans directly, preferring to communicate to Riley via aura and then, any other communication.

Salamence, Level 63, M

Intimidate, Jolly, Alert to sounds

> Dragon Dance
> Fire Fang
> Dragon Claw
> Crunch

The first of two Pokemon that Riley captured in Hoenn was a Bagon. The Bagon has evolved to a Salamence, a "gentle dragon" of sorts who serves as Riley's main form of transportation. Initially hot headed, he has since mellowed out to be a generally good natured and nurturing type who also looks out for his trainer openly. Lives on the roof of Riley's dorm. Also serves as his main flying/travelling Pokemon.

Metagross, Level 62

Clear Body, Relaxed, Good perseverance

> Zen Headbutt
> Meteor Mash
> Bullet Punch
> Magnet Rise

The second of two Pokemon Riley captured in Hoenn was a Metang who evolved into a Metagross. The second Steel type and Riley's go to battler in the event Lucario is incapacitated/unavailable, Metang is a giant tank of a Pokemon who takes hits well. It's also very smart. Think of a supercomputer on legs. That's Metagross. Not as openly caring for Riley as the other two but underneath all that steel, it cares deeply for Riley. The only one regularly kept in a Pokeball on campus. If not with Riley, then usually roaming around the campus like a boss. (it's hella heavy, hence the reason it doesn't stay on the roof with Salamence.)
