So today I find out the reason for the craziness in Changmin's "new look" is becaaause...
So they're in Borabora shooting for their new Hi Ya Ya single music video, right? And they're "having fun" at the beach for the cameras? And then Jae gets stung. By a Jellyfish. Right on his manly chest that so contrasts his pretty face, thereby making a shirtless photoshoot implausible. XD;;;
Jaejoong sees Changmin standing around and says, "You do it." Changmin is very embarrassed and defends himself as soon as he has the chance to in the next radio interview (XD, I LOVE HIM), to which Xiah Junsu laughs and informs us Changmin had no issues with his half nudity and proceeded to walk around shirtless for the rest of their stay in Borabora.
I LOVE YOU, SHIM CHANGMIN. XD;;
Their new song is an entirely different issue, as Hi Ya Ya = dumbest title ever and only to be loved by people who are fans already. Seriously, the first time I heard it? I was like. OMFG, it's Drive-HotMail-Upside Down by A*teens ALL INTO ONE DISGUSTINGLY HAPPY AND SUMMERY SINGLE. The epitome of pop. Except they have the most gorgeous harmonizations ever, which reminds me I must perservere....
Because they also did an acapella piano-accompanied remake of a song from their first album, "Like Now," which is aboslutely glorious. The pianist for this piece also happens to be a kid with Down Syndrome they met while visiting a mental institution. T_T Awe.
There's another song on the single that is supposedly another remake of an old Korean song with baby noises in the middle? Which is actually Joongie's laughter computerized? -_-... I swear, sometimes, it's like Lee Sooman is deliberately trying to lower DBSK's appeal as to justify making them a ROTATION GROUP. T_T
Also. I finally got their Japanese single, "Stay With Me Tonight," which makes me laugh in a very affectionate and sad way (as most of their music has recently), but it's pretty catchy, and I like it much more than their other single... What was it? Try My Love...? Yeh.
Finally: Changmin's new ANOREXIC APPEARANCE. What are they doing to the poor boy?! Depriving a Changmin of his rice/cheese/milk is like leaving an adorable baby penguin to DIE in the SAHARA. T_T Seriously worrying me.
ARG, there are so many things to buy this summer! The Asian music industry is out to get me, I swear releasing
THIS and TVXQ's Borabora Photo Album and
THIS and then a SE7EN CONCERT IN JULY....
I'm going to be SO POOR by the end of this summer.
