4:45am eastern = 3:45am central
I went up to hang out with Julie this weekend and also to help her move a lot of stuff into her new apartment. That alone constituted a multitude of exciting adventures. I am now the proud owner of four tightening "lock-down" straps which were used to secure both a boxspring and mattress at the same time to the top of my jeep, which was used as a vessel for transport through the city of Chicago. While I was nervous about transporting two things of that size at first, I was quickly more than confident in the way I positioned the straps to tie them both down.
Sunday we went to watch the Bears pound on the Saints, at least in the second half of the game. Julie's flight got canceled so I stayed in Chicago until this morning. She set her phone alarm for 4:45am (already way too early for me), and we left at what I thought was 5:10am to take her to the airport. It wasn't until she called me to let me know that she had left her phone in my car that she pointed out that her phone for some reason doesn't automatically switch from Eastern Time to Central. So by the time I dropped her off from the airport and took off for Peoria at what I thought was 5:30am, it was really 4:30am.
man.
Needless to say, I got into work super early so I'll be off by 4:00pm no problem. I'll catch up on that lost hour of sleep tonight.
