Throwing myself on the mercy of the LJ community
So, I just found out that tomorrow after I get off of work I'm going to be driving to Wichita. From St. Louis. My friend's boyfriend of 8 years just dumped her and threw her out of their apartment so now a few of us are helping her move back home. Anyone that's ever made that drive can tell you that it's incredibly boring and, when I say boring, I mean that after an hour you're ready to chew through your own wrists just to have something to do. But it's all to help a friend, so I can't complain too much and, even if I did, I doubt anyone would care.
I foresee myself spending a great deal of the evening burning CDs like a mad woman in the hopes that they will help keep me awake while I'm driving in the middle of the night after getting up at 6:00 am. Here is where you all come in. I know that there are a lot of people on my friends list that share my interest in music so at this point I'm flat out willing to beg. Any suggestions, directions, or downloads of good new music would make me happy enough to make offers that are illegal in most southern states. I'm perfectly happy to trade song for song, for anyone that might be interested.
