yes, it was an infection. the infection started in the old root canal and went down into his jaw bone, making it dangerous. they said another day or so and i could have gone into his heart or his brain.
i feel like a zombie. i can't eat, i can't sleep. i play nurse from 10am to 8pm and then go home, try and eat a small meal, and then toss and turn fitfully all night until it's time to go back and see him again. i've been like this since monday. now they say he'll probably be there until monday or tuesday.
he's feeling much better, and i am sure the morphine helps. i just want the infection gone and i want the swelling to go away. i want my husband back at home and healthy. i want to get a good night's sleep.
