On an entirely different note, would someone like to explain to me whi in the holy hell Kid Rock's new CD is sold out all over the damn place around here?! Not that I tried to buy it, but I went to Best Buy to buy a game strategy guide and they had big signs when you walk in the door admitting that they are out of Kid's rocks. I went to Meijers the other night to buy LOTR, not realizing I was a week early, and there were like ten people there all waitng at midnight to buy KR. Are you fucking kidding me with this shit? I know he is extremely local and all, but do none of these people realize that he sucks?!
We have school closings today. I know this because I am up so early, Today is still on. Why are the schools closed? Because we have had hurricane level winds (clocking in around 75mph at some points) all night (and currently continuing) and it has affected the power. It is dying down now, but the gusts are still around 50mph.
I swear, when I was driving last night, I really feared for my safety. I don't think I ever quite appreciated how much the treelines protect roadsters until I was crossing intersections and swerving all over the place nto lanes not my own. Thank god I didn't drink too much. It's a lot easier to explain to cops that you aren't reckless and blame it on the wind when you're NOT drunk.
