Little Miracles [Journal- Sept 15, 2011]
Who knew that a simple birthday party, well rather birthday plans I guess is more accurate, could go so strangely so quick?
Eames and I were about to celebrate his birthday, going on a drive to some place to watch the sunset and then dinner after. Nothing too strenuous but something that was going to be fun for the both of us.
Our daughter on the other hand had some of her own plans. Namely, bringing herself in to the world nearly two full months early. Just as we were about to go on our drive- me needing to change my clothes being the only thing we were waiting on- when my water broke.
Needless to say I think this was a birthday gift neither of us expected.
Still, I'm thankful that she's here and she chose her daddy's birthday to come into our lives. Though she's so early and so so tiny she seems to be in perfect health. The doctor is pretty amazed at how well she's doing and though she'll have to stay in the hospital a little longer than I'd like.. She's so perfect, and she's so beautiful I can't even begin to describe it.
Needless to say I can't wait to get her home and to finally experience what it's like to have a happy family. My life is nearly complete. The next step and finally marrying the love of my life.
But..
