the past week
I was creative, god damnit. I typed a bitching entry (though you wouldn't know that, now would you), and then I "convieniently" pressed some damn key and it shut down...grr, i'll just pick up where i left off..
So I went on facebook today (bad, Laura, bad), and noticed that they have a "spring break" plan to add to one's profile. SPRING BREAK?--I think, well, my plan thus far is to be in a wedding. Okay, scratch one day of that week off. The rest? Will probably be spent lounging around the hometown. Last year I spent a few days at home and the rest at Wordstock making up for lost time. It was sick and I shouldn't have done that. Let me rephrase that, I want my spring break this year. But, go somewhere? Uh, where?--I'll have to get back to you on that one. All I know is that in seven weeks I know that I'm going to deserve one. Example: this past week which began with bombing my Russian test, capped with turning in my grad school application, and ended with finishing the internal and external design for "Artless," released by Ooligan Press in April 2006, cover by yours truly. I'm just lucky that John came down early on Friday and we were able to spend the weekend celebrating his birthday, exercising consumerism, and lounging around my apartment. I just wish we could be together to decompress from our days every day. sigh, but that dream is why we're still together, well, part of it.
Moral of the story: I've got way too much going on but I wouldn't have it any other way.
