Fun picture time!
Puffy cheek central and possibly the most unnatractive photo of any human being ever. That was about an hour after I got my wisdom teeth out and I was more or less not alive at the time. Note the Residents in the background and the endless trail of ants I decided to draw one day for no reason at all.
I painted that yesterday. I took a percocet and attempted to meditate. Every time I meditate I usually get a flash of some basic primitive shape with a distinct color on the back of my eyelids. Usually a blue square with a black circle in or something like that. Yesterday, what I painted is what I saw. Just looking at that thing is really frightening, but really cool at the same time. In my image, it was an eyeball creature with bloodshot eyes. The bloodshotness was more of blood splatter though, like someone had hacked up a person with an axe right next to it or something. The painting is actually very faithful to what it looked like, rough edges and all. It's the most vivid image I've ever gotten from meditation and it's living on my wall now. Gah.
Actually, the past 2 days have been amazing. I watched the Motorcycle Diaries and ever since then, life has given me this overwhelming sense that everything will be okay. Seeya later, life.
