The Road Ends at the River, originally uploaded by

Starting close to
where I left off last week, I continued upstream. I found a footbridge on Amigo Ave. in Reseda which doesn't appear on the map. It is interesting to see this remarkably bleak channel surrounded by middling-to-affluent suburbia.
Someone had started a bit of gardening near the gated and padlocked utility road to the river.
I hope it grows well for the brave person who started it.
I moved on to cross a few more bridges, but at this one:
Buddy displayed his tendency to chase cars. He only does this when the cars are going over or under a bridge. Perhaps it's because the cars make more of a wooshing noise on bridges. I was not far from the so-called headwaters of the river, but I decided I would wait a while to finish this walk. I decided I would spend more time in more Buddy-friendly places like quiet parks for a while. I'm tired of all this concrete, it's getting hot in the valley, and there's too much traffic.
