Yes I realize that not everyone is a baseball fan.

Yes I realize that not all baseball fans are Cardinals fans.

But I really had to laugh when I read this article from a West Coast sports writer:

BTW, I discovered yesterday, purely by chance, that there are TWO official Cards shirts about the Rally Squirrel--one says "got squirrels?" and the other says "Free The Squirrel." :D

One of the local news channels here yesterday showed a costume store that was selling Rally Squirrel costumes for Halloween.

I didn't get on of those, but I do follow Torty on Twitter...and I even emailed this guy to tell him basically the same thing...that more people know about and follow a pet tortoise on Twitter than follow him :D
