Kaboom!
'Tis a bad thing when the transformer at one's workplace falls down and leaks acid everywhere. 'Tis also a bad thing when tree branches fall down upon people's cars. Additionally, when the power at one's workplace goes out, it causes problems for all involved. Downed power lines are not a good thing to have lying around when there are many hyperactive children present.
One might ask, what do all these things have in common?
I would answer, "They ALL occurred at work yesterday!" Yay for giant chain reactions...it went something like this:
Tree branch breaks off of tree -->
Said tree branch lands on powerline -->
Which, in turn, pulls down the transformer pole -->
Transformer goes *boom* -->
Power goes out, while -->
Transformer leaks acid all over -->
Burning scent ensues, causing minor panic
Oh, and did I mention that a couple of cars kind of got crushed by the falling branches?
All in all, it made for a rather interesting (and very strange) workday.
