I seem to have lost about a stone, (I'm sure it will manifest itself eventually.)
I didn't go on any diet. I just cut a lot of unnecessary carbs. Mostly in the form of high fructose corn syrup. In particular, I've almost completely given up bread.
I'm craving some bread, so I decided that maybe I could find one that wasn't laden in syrup at the bakery department of my local grocers. (Cub Foods.) Not so.
Every loaf I looked at had high fructose corn syrup as the 3rd or 4th ingredient. Also, to my surprise, partially hydrogenated oil was listed high on every one. Yet, it listed 0 grams of trans fat.
I didn't buy any, and am wondering where I can get a loaf of bread that has only about 5 or 6 ingredients and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.
