So, like a good pacific northwest girl, I read the entire Stranger today. Well, actually, I didn't really READ it all, but I did skim all of it. Here are some things I learned:
* if I ever get a snowflake tattoo on my ankle, I will know of lots of shops that offer that service. There were, like, 50 ads for tattoo places.
* there is an etsy craft show this saturday. Handmade goods by people of the PNW. It's at SODO POP. Where the hell is THAT? I KNOW
it's south of the dome, but what's with the POP part?
* Tomorrow, at Alderwood 7, little Ira Glass, and his munchkin-like voice, are appearing on film in This American Life. Dan Savage even
has a story, about church and death. Could be fun. Too bad I don't leave my couch.
* If I ever need a female escort, or just some good old fashioned porn, there are many pages of suggestions. And, by the way, if I ever
DO need either of those things, please shoot me.
* There is a book out, called Love As Always, Kurt: Vonnegut As I Knew Him. When I see his name in print, my eye is immediately drawn
to the article, because of erin. Unfortunately, this book seems to be a worthless one. So never mind.
* there were about 50 different ads for bands coming to the area. I did not recognize ONE name. Must be ultra alternative.
And that was my trip with the stranger.
