Last night Pierson and I went out and played in the hail. It was some of the biggest hail I've ever seen. Probably almost quarter size. He hates thunder showers, but once it started hailing he started barking at the door. He was watching it bounce all around the deck so we went out and played. He thought it was a bug or something. He kept trying to catch it. He's such a cute dog.
Tuesday on the way to my sister's after work I got pulled over for the first time. The cop said he clocked me 20 feet from a corner going 52. Funny, because it was impossible. However, the speed on the road I was turning off of was 55. He was the rudest officer I've ever met. In fact, he made me lose respect for most cops. He pulls me over and asks for my license. I then ask him if he needs my registration as well. He quickly replies that's what I said. He asks me if I have a driving record. I told him not that I know of. He screams back at me "WRONG, everyone has one". He goes back to his car and I start crying. He's in the car forever so I start having an anxiety attack. He comes back and tells me that I have to stop crying which only made me cry harder. He then goes on to tell me that he did me a favor by only writing me up for 5 over. He asks why I'm crying and I tell him I'm scared and that he's being very abrupt. He then asks if I'm arguing with an officer of the law. He throws the ticket in the window at me and tells me to call the court within 14 days. I started my car and just sat there crying. I was having a really hard time breathing so I was trying to find my inhaler and I could see him glaring at me from his car. I finally start to breath a little and get back on the road only to see that he's right behind me. I quickly pull off onto the first street I come across and let him pass. I get to my sisters and I'm still crying so she gives me a beer to calm my nerves. Oh good, so now I was drinking and driving. After I left my sister's I had to go to the gym because I had an appt with my personal trainer. My mom's friend that I was working out with husband is on the OC police department. She tells me to calm down and that she'll have him call me after we work out. We work out and then Dwayne calls me. Mind you, Dwayne has known me since I was 4 and I babysit his daughter. I tell him what happened and he was like wow, that guy was an ass. No kidding. He asks me for his name, which of course I couldn't read because ol' boy needed to go back to first grade to learn how to write. I give him the badge number and he tells me he'll call me back. He calls me back and tells me his name and tells me he's going to call him. A few minutes later he calls me back and tells me to ripe up the ticket. I was like what? He was like he told me he was being an ass and that he hadn't filed it yet and to go ahead and rip it up. I was like OMG, I love you. He was like he admitted to being really rude to you. I was like so I can wipe the tears and mascara from my face. He was like please. I'm realived, but also a little nervous. What if he just told him that and really filed the ticket? What if a few years from now I have a warrant out for my arrest for unpaid tickets?
