Thank you, one and all who helped me to celebrate my "29th" birthday!
My friend, surrogate, prepared a dinner and invited seven other people to join the party, and some came from as far away as Denmark ~ yes, Denmark! Anyway he prepared a fabulous dinner of three grilled meats, potatoes, coleslaw, tossed salad, crudites and dip and a special birthday dessert of fresh fruits, angel food cake, and whipped cream. Everything was very delicious and all had a great time!
I appreciate the wishes from everyone, the ((hugs)) from dinner companions and a special 'meowww' from Roadie the cat!
(this is a reasonable facimile for his cat, Roadie!)

Earlier in the week I was in the Detroit area visiting family to celebrate the "Virgo birthdays" ~ my nephew was in town from California and his birthday was the 17th, mine was the 19th, and a sister-in-law on the 27th ~ so we had a Virgo birthday party ~ and another nephew came in from Chicago so we all got to 'touch bases' and give real hugs, not just virtual hugs ~ ahhh! We had a fabulous dinner and "chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting for dessert ~ and with all the candles on the cake we needed to quickly make wishes and blow out the candles before the smoke detector came on! All was well and everyone had a glorious time. Afterward the eight of us played Wii bowling and the laughter was infectious ~ oh my ~ I am one lucky woman!!!
So this is one very happy person, believe me! I am so blessed to have such a fabulous family and so many friends on 'the internet' ~ the nephew from California is the one to get me involved in 'blogging' to keep in touch ~ I am forever grateful for his suggestion!
Again ~ thank you all ~ ((hugs))
