Just... one of those days...

Feb 15, 2010 12:29

The sun is shining outside, shining through the blinds and gleaming on my desk, warming my hands as I type. It's cold outside, enough to make my bones ache, so the warmth on my hands is pleasant. The Impertinent Daughter is finally resting voluntarily, and the Impossible Son is in the living room, curled on the couch with his DS and having it out with Super Mario 64.

Man, what a day.

Miss Priss had a followup appointment today, just to check her bloodwork and see if she can go back to school this week. And the answer is... no. Why? Because that damn EBV VCA IGM went UP, that's why!! Only four points, but... AAAAUUUGGHHH!!!!

So, we go back next week, and see what we will see. This, of course, is why she's voluntarily resting. Of course, had she been doing this from the beginning like she was supposed to...

*sighs*

That's useless. The thing is, she's resting, and I'm fine with that. And I had to remind myself that she missed much more time back in 2008, and came back fine. It's just... it's so unnatural to see her being so still!

If the ground wasn't a boggy, soupy mess, I'd go work outside, but all the rain we've had has turned the backyard into a swamp. I'll have to post pictures of what my backyard looked like after the rain finished up, once I find the cable for my camera. And JAYS, but I need to write, and I'm so stuck!! Whine, whine, whine, right?

Oh well, perhaps I'll scare the Impossible Son up for a bit of an explore outside. I'm sure we'll find something interesting...

impossible son, stuff, impertinent daughter, mono
