My hair is fading. I’d call it ‘faded raspberry’ for the most part. Heroes tomorrow, but the episode looks like FYG without the awesomeness. Guy Fawkes Day tomorrow! Sweet! Wish I lived in England!

Also, the actor who plays West on Heroes was on TV Guide last night (7:20 PM ish). They were asking some odd questions, but I tuned in just in time for ‘Can you name any characters named ‘West’ that exist outside of gay porn?’ ‘*laughs* No, actually, no.’ and I nearly DIED. Who to slash West with? Lyle? Zach? Eeeew …

I’m ALMOST caught up with slash; depressed about c_quinn; and need to get back on my Werewolf!Fic …

(Side note: has anyone read the new, and last, Peter and the Starcatchers book yet? AWESOME conclusion, I don’t care if it’s incredibly below my reading level, that tale is timeless …)

‘The Satan Pit’

Ahh, the creepy ilithiads … so long red shirts! Hee, bleeped swear. Utto, Christian allegories never go well.

No! Don’t go down into the pit! Curiosity killed the red shirt! And possibly the Tenth Doctor!

Yay, Rose saved possessed-boy! [regrets this after finishing the episode.]

Torchwood-Archive … interesting …

Hee, the Church of the Tin Vagabond, I want to belong to that church …

“Before time.” “What does that mean?” “Before time.” Hee …

“Before the cataclysm.” Utto, Dragonlance Chronicles reference! *hides under the bed*

“That’s impossible, nothing could have existed before then.” “Is that your religion?” Ha! The Beast has the best lines …

Note to self: carry ten miles of cable at all times.

I love teamwork. Rose is awesome. Hope the Doctor finds the TARDIS soon.

“It’s not the urge to jump, it’s the urge to fall.” Eeeek!

Oh, lovely, ass-oggling.

*whimpers* Poor Jefferson …

*death by telepathic virus* That’s pretty cool … too bad Rose couldn’t free them.

Aaaah, the return of the BSG music … poor Doctor, ‘The Lonely God’ … oooo! Music from the finale of Season 1! Utto … No! Doctor, no! Don’t vanish!

Poor Ida … no! They’re abducting Rose! The Doctor will return! He always will, until he runs out of incarnations … I fear that day …

No! They took Rose away from the Doctor … does that mean we get Martha soon? *wibbles*

Wow! The Beast looks like something out of D&D … utto, the mind escaped! Poor Doctor, he’s so brilliant, but he can’t loose Rose …

“Go to hell.” Right on, Rose!

*laughs with joy and relief* There’s the TARDIS!

“Gravity-smavity, my people practically invented that idea. Actually, they did.” Hee!

Oooh, Ida’s alive! Sweet!

“Said I was gonna die in battle.” “And it lied.” But did it really? I don’t know why Rose isn’t in Season 3, but it has something to do with a parallel world I THINK … but I worry about her.

“You never did say. You two, who exactly are you?” “The stuff of legends.” *grins*

Sweet! The Suzie-Keeps-Dying/STOPWATCH!LOVE episode! *quite cheery*

Ok, so is the whole ‘Torchwood is a giant loaf of bread’ thing EVER gonna be explained? It’s bad enough you whiz around Cardiff in sexy black trenches and a car with TORCHWOOD on the sides, but a funky building just makes it worse.

Anything you say is catching, Ianto …

I need to write a crossover-fic where Peter uses the glove … wait, it’s destroyed … ah well, there’s another out there …

Why does Ianto like stopwatches? I didn’t understand the exchange between him and Owen about it. “It’s the button on the top.” Is there some dirty British reference I’m not getting here?

I don’t think Jack gets the point at all: people at Torchwood are lonely, isolated, and having mental issues. He should DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

Jack in suspenders is damn sexy. Anyone else would look ridiculous.

“Wait a minute, didn’t I kill you?” hee …

Gwen has no right to be annoyed by the charming music at the rave they hit. Try listening to Lamb of God and Mastadon and Waking the Cadaver for two full years when you HATE death metal. THEN come and complain to me!

I still think Jack’s out of line tormenting Max. Whatever happens to Max, anyhoodle?

“Suzie’s gotta die.” “Again?!” Tosh would go ballistic over Buffy …

I really hope the thing moving in the dark hurries up and finds Jack soon, because Jack is WAY out of line. He tried to get Ianto to kill his girlfriend, sent Mary into the sun, joked around Max, and shot Suzie like five times when her only crime was insanity. Just sayin’ … if only we still had Psycho!Nine … *sigh*

Aaaaaah, STOPWATCH!Love … *smiles* Has anyone compiled that list? Could you post me a link? Hee ‘The List’ … you can’t escape the Heroes references at my journal!

Does anyone know the names of those two songs at the end?

‘Random Shoes’

[I don’t understand this episode. It feels like a filler. Yes, Eugene is cute, and yes, I liked this episode, but the ending confuzzeled me, and I would have been perfectly happy with seeing the list of all the things you can do with a stopwatch acted out by Ianto and Jack for forty minutes. That would have been better, methinks …]

I like the beginning of the episode, actually, I like ALL of Eugene’s voiceovers. Probably because I’m so used to dull Moyawnder voiceover on Heroes and Eugene is a lovely change. But I don’t understand ‘meter’s because the USA doesn’t use the damn LOGICAL metric system.

“Radom Shoes” eh?

Wow, that eye is cool! Poor kid … I like the song that plays as we zoom around the opening credits for ‘The Third Planet’ ...

Hmmm, Eugene could become like Spike for Torchwood! Spike’s other qualities (sexy jacket, sexy accent, sexy snark, immortality) have already been divvied out between the Torchwood staff.

“and … wow. A hand. In a jar.” The Hand! Hee, Eugene fainted when they cut him up …

Ok, so ‘chips’ in England are American ‘French Fries’ right? So what do they call bits of potato fried and made crunchy?

That guy at the video store was odd …

Ok, I’m NEVER putting something on ebay … ’15,050.50’ is suspicious to me … I should never have watched season 2 of lost …

Oh! Gwen can hear him! [why was that never explained?!]

I don’t trust Gary …

Auuuuuuuuwww! *a sad keen* Eugene loves Gwen, but she can’t see him! She can barely hear him … this is just so odd and sad …

I see Packman …

I could go for a banana milkshakes … yum! Bananas are good! *giggles*

“… also Beanie Babies.” Hee! I have dozens of those …

Hmmm, those ‘friends’ are odd and possibly evil. Alien possession? …

Oh god! Wow, he just … died. Man.

*feels like crying* His dad sings pretty …

Yes! Sweet!

No, wait … b’whuh? *is so confuzzled*

Hmmm … this episode was meant to teach us that life is short and we should live it to its fullest, I think. But we already learned that last week with Suzie and “This is all there is.” Also, the ‘bananas are good’ thing was reinforced. Nothing else to report, actually. Hmmm … I liked this episode and I didn’t. I wish Eugene could have stayed as a series regular and been like less-cool-and-sexy-Spike-for-Torchwood, because Gwen’s ‘normal outisder’ thing isn’t working anymore and I think we’d all identify with Eugene more than we ever would/will with Gwen.

Next week: people from the forties fall through the Rift. This means that we’ll learn a bit about Jack’s past, via Owen’s stupidity (he should get together with Mohinder) and steamy love scenes.

they keep killing suzie, random shoes, the satan pit
