So, have you ever wondered where the hell I came from? I really didn't start watching Heroes consistantly/obsessively until after the six-week break, with episode 19

last week's sex-alien vs. Owen character development ... gotta go with this week, I'm afraid ... It was great character development of him, and I was happy to see that little behind-the-scenes in the commercials where they talked about how the character was going to change over the series, but I liked how last week had a more obvious theme to it of connecting to other people. I wrote a long recap for FADPOV that I don't think is up yet where I harped on that a lot. But last week was written by Chris Chibnall, who I just found out also wrote a lot of Life on Mars which I ADORED, so that may also explain why I liked last week better.
I know what you mean, I felt like Owen was channeling Sylar or Dark!Mohinder for a second there ... It's easy to see Heroes in everything when you've spent so much time talking about it, but seriously...Owen sitting there staring menacingly while Edwin babbled obliviously on? Where have we seen that behavior before? ;0) What made Owen so scary is that I expect that about-to-snap look from Sylar, but Owen's supposed to be a [snarky] good guy. Burn Gorman just acted the hell out of that. When Owen was seeing Edwin attack Lizzie, he was so horrified that I almost felt worse for him than for Lizzie.

When Owen was seeing Edwin attack Lizzie, he was so horrified that I almost felt worse for him than for Lizzie. Poor Lizzie kinda knew what she was getting into, wheras Owen HAD to watch ...
And yeah, the clock-and-heartbeat thing was a FREAKY coincidence.
