Mr. President, even if I don't always agree with your policies, even if I'm sometimes a little ticked off at you for oh, say, neglecting to repeal DADT and the Defense of Marriage Act and not magically waving your hands and legalizing gay marriage nationwide, even though I honestly didn't support you until it was you or McCain/Palin ... 
... I'm proud to have you as my President. No matter what, you'll always have a big shiny rainbow star in my book because of this. Good on you, sir!
