I mean, it's fantastic and all, and hilarious and scary and tense and everything, but ... it feels like filler. Of course, with Jim Butcher, 'filler' means 'wild ride where we revisit many characters from the past and Harry gets wonderfully introspective and aunt_zelda is lying in wait for Marcone to show up as usual' instead of 'useless placeholder.' Harry/Marcone is better off by a little, but the fact remains that there's a ridiculously small amount of fic for such a slashy pairing! *chugs away at my fic* I'm writing from Harry's POV, but I'm not sure about switching off to Marcone's POV within the fic ... *pulls hair* I think it works better with Harry's POV, methinks ... and I write in first-person a lot lately. Good practice.

Died. I have this awful habit of peeking ahead a couple pages to see if Morgan or Marcone show up, and when I saw that scene I was all 'OMG YAAAAAAAAY!' and thus read it about three times.

*whistles* ...Well, I doubt anyone would guess what fandom it is I'm writing in; it's not one of my usual ones people think of when thinking of me, though it's one of my favorite anime/manga's. I have lots of stuff planned for it; I've been working on it here and there on my off time. I've actually mentioned the anime/manga one or two times but it's been awhile since I have.

lol, it's okay. Can't wait to get to the next part, for I shall work vigorously and write lots and lots! I miss Sunniva-Lynn too--she feels like a genuine character of the show almost, you know, not just an OC, and DEFINITELY not a Mary-Sue. She's very, VERY far from that, and that makes me happy. We're both striving to keep her from that, I know. The opinion of people need to change, as I think as soon as people hear the word 'OC' they immediately think Mary-Sue (or the occasional rare Gary-Sue)
Oh, yes, I remember! Tallulah's dance number and comment about the Doctor liking 'musical theater' are the only good things about 'Daleks in Manhatten.' And 'Gridlock' remains one of my favorite episodes of DW. *Squees about the old lesbian ladies*)
I know. It wasn't the best episode...but the Doctor was in it, and there were dance numbers and 'musical theater' references about the Doctor, so it can be forgiven--mostly. And yes, I LOVE Gridlock as well. It's really an amazing ep. I was glad to see it again (I managed to record a few DW ep's on my DVR, which includes Gridlock, so I can watch the Doctor for awhile, yay!) And yes, mentions of married lesbian/gay couples is WIN. Makes me remember what's good about RTD and not all the bashing people have done because of all teh Rose stuff and all.

That would be REALLY freaky. Then again, if Michael believes that everyone can be redeemed, I suppose he'd have a lot of support from Mohinder and the Mylar fangirls ...

Wow ... just remembered, last night I had a dream about Michael and ... someone else ... and the swords ... it was really sad and scary ... the sword was just flickering for Michael and the other guy, because it needed to be handed off to a new person, but Michael and the other guy were wounded and fighting these ... giant spiders? Ugh, it was awful ...
I think I ship TV!Harry/TV!Bob, because ... well, if you watch the Pilot alone, you get slash vibes: the Skinwalker is torturing Harry and taunting Bob about not being able to do anything, and eventually Bob gives her the info she needs. I couldn't help it: I squeed when I saw that.
But Bookverse!Harry/Bookverse!Bob ... no. I feel no slashy vibes from those two.
The kid was ok ... it was scary, though, because I half expected her to jump me with a scythe or something.

I agree. Bookverse!Harry/Bookverse!Bob there is no slashy vibes, but TV wise yes. And there is nothing wrong with squeeing when it comes to Harry in slashy situations, TV or not. =P (though the tv version of Harry is not exactly how I pictured him...he's still cool though.)

^_^ Okay! (I still have to finish up Lost too. AND Supernatural. I love the shows, both of them, but I'll be glad when they end, so I have more free time. It's tiring! lol)
