why is it that because people perceive you to be an intelligent and hardworking person, they think they can take advantage of you? what part of smart and dedicated and hard working says, "no, i don't mind doing the entire project on my own"? that's what happened. we had a summative project to finish for economics and i worked on it for three days ON MY OWN!!!! there were three other people in my group, and none of them made an attempt to work with me. they expected me to do the project. what the fuck is that? they actually did ask me what they could do, however at that point, i had already finished the assignment and didn't really want to talk to any of them. but they did surprise me today with a rose, in what i can only assume was a final attempt at my forgiveness. i thought it was cute and sweet of them, but it doesn't change anything that happened. i was still the one who ended up doing the entire thing by myself. however, they did seem to feel a little guilty, so in a way that was rewarding. anyway, the project is done and all i have to do is the exam and i'll never have to work in a group with them again :)
sigh...i feel better now.
