NOT cheering for my little cheerleader!
Today was the 1st (of many) cheer practices. I am not too sure about this! Right nor practice is Monday, Tuesday, Wednsday & Thursday from 5:30 till 7:30 2 HOURS Way too long for 6yr olds! We also have to create banners/posters on Saturday!
Once school starts, we will change to JUST Mon, Tues & Thurs, but have games each Sat @ 6pm - except for 10/9 - that will be @ 7pm cause its the Apple Butter Bowl (our Superbowl). For the games we have to be there 1 hour before hand. - Oh, that "free" Wed we now have will be taken by Brownies from 6-7:30pm.
I think this is al more work for the parents than it is for the kids - did I mention I will have to run the concession stand once or twice?!
My social life just got more hectic! When am I gonna have time for my nutty friends that need my help?! LOL
Now the kid is asking me if she can take dance (which I realy do want her to do), we will have to wait & se if I can sign her up after this cheer thing is over!
One last thingy - I think they said something about a parade also - not all so happy about that!
