Well I guess I certainly agree with *counts* seven of those! Having been there. :) My recollections of your choices (sans Les Mis).

JT: My favorite memory of seeing James Taylor at Alpine Valley was how he just rambled out onstage with no opening act and no announcement and sat down and said hi, and started to play. So I missed approximately 2 songs bolting for the front of the venue to find Other Sister.

Glee: Yeah, it was soooo slick, but I absolutely bought it. Especially Heather Morris' dancing and Lea Michelle and Amber Riley's vocals. Really, Amber's solos were worth the price of admission.

Red Elvises: Guaranteed fun.

Todd Rundgren: I almost forgot I'd seen him. And I never even did drugs *sigh* so not fair. There is no singer-songwriter I love more than him. Concerts where you know every single word and musical phrase are my favorite.

Adam: I am inspired to quote that one security guard from NKOTBSB in Indy. He was right up front with his back against the stage. I asked him whether he minded having to face away from the ( ... )

hi hi hi! :D

Isn't that a great album? It's one of the few I just listen to, start to finish, without skipping one track.

AMYBABE!

I love Girlfriend too, Mary. I'm also partial to Altered Beast, since it has The Ugly Truth, Devil with the Green Eyes and sound bites from Caligula. :)

JT - No, you bolted to the gate to find ME. I was waiting for the Other Sister who had my ticket and you told me to just buy another one and get my ass in there. For which I thank you.

Glee - The part I remember being most delightful was Safety Dance. But the whole thing was ridiculously fun.

Red Elvises - Unless you get sick halfway through the show and can't dance for the second set. :(

Todd Rundgren - Seriously. Bruises. We had a good time.

Adam - Glam Nation II, 2012.

NKOTBSB - I totally witnessed the heart hands. I can testify.

Your additions were awesome. In spite of the late hour, I loved the Run Run Run show. And those guys love you, which is a whole different kind of fun.

BANGLES! What time is that one again? #schoolnight

So I'm told The Bangles show was last night. :) Good time? All four original members?

It was fantastic, thanks! Great time.

No, Michael Steele dropped out sometime in the 90s, apparently. So the Petersen sisters and Susanna Hoffs, plus a new bassist and keyboardist.

They played the three I wanted to hear -- Liverpool, In Your Room and Hero Takes a Fall, so I was a very happy fan.

Their opening act was fantastic -- Vintage Justice. Check them out!

(At HOB, The Bangles came onstage near the end of this song as "go-go dancers." :D)

Ah, we have an embedder: Blues Hand Me Down.
