Sad to say, I'm not really much of a beer drinker...

Ten Celebrities With Whom I'd Like to Drink a Cocktail

1. Adam Lambert - the lavender cosmo
I actually call it the Lambertini, since I first had one right before I saw him in concert. I imagine this happening in a VIP room of some fancy club somewhere. We'd get drunk very quickly and talk about boys. Then we'd hit the dance floor. And he'd better not be wearing harem pants.

2. John Barrowman - the vodka tonic (extra lime)
It's his favorite drink and one of mine, too. We'd drink, he'd tell me dirty jokes, I'd resist the urge to ruffle his hair.

3. Kris Allen - the Mekong martini
Kris doesn't strike me as a cocktail-drinker. But he's a laid-back kind of guy, unconcerned with stereotypes, and very willing to try anything once. He'd probably like the pineappley flavor, be utterly unperturbed at the bright pink color, and we'd just hang out and people-watch for a few hours.

4. Alexander Skarsgard - the "Fez" (made with Swedish vodka, of course)
I had one of these a couple of months ago but I haven't tried making it myself yet. It's made with tangerine vodka and rosewater cardamom syrup. Delicious. I'd drink the first one in three gulps so I'd have the guts to just stare at him the way I want. And I'd hope for him to get drunk enough to start speaking Swedish.

5. Kevin Spacey - the Bloody Christmas martini
It's a pomegranate martini but misreall and I named it after L.A. Confidential, in which Mr. Spacey is fucking brilliant.

6. Bradley Bell - the classic cosmo
Brad is a sparkly hummingbird of a human being. He's pretty, he's flamey, he's altogether delightful. We'd squoosh together in the middle of a circular booth and critique all the fashion that walked by.

7. Christian Bale - the hurricane
Rum-drunk is my favorite kind of drunk to be. I'd get tipsy halfway through my first drink, try to resist calling Mr. Bale Jack (don't ask, it's a Newsies thing), and just hang out.

8. John Rhys-Davies - vodka & lemonade
Seems rather random, but again I can thank the dvd extras on Lord of the Rings. He just seems like a fascinating guy, and according to his co-stars, very gentlemanly and very willing to share stories of his experience on countless movie sets. It's a summery kind of drink so I imagine us sitting on a patio somewhere on a warm day.

9. Paul Bettany - the prickly-pear margarita
He has a voice I could listen to for hours. Plus he has a very dry (and occasionally filthy) sense of humor. And if he wanted to invite his good friend Russell Crowe to join us, all the better.

10. The Red Elvises - the Blue Hawaii
Who, you might ask? Are these celebrities? THEY ARE YOUR FAVORITE BAND. But it's possible you don't know that yet. They have the distinction of being the only entries on this list I've actually already had drinks with. We'd go to the Hala Kahiki, which is full of beautiful Russians, so Igor and Oleg could feel more at home. And I'd just hang and have drunken conversations with Adam, all six and a half adorable feet of him.
