Slowly decaying...
The computer continues to decline. Last night, even with the AGP aperture closed to 4x, it's crashing. I'm guessing it's because I turned the AC off and let the house temp jump to 75 degrees, which is causing the chips inside to heat up more than usual. Seems to be an overheating problem. Maybe it has something to do with through-putting 4X agp to two monitors instead of one?
Sigh.
Going to try disabling my dual output tonight, and see if it stabilizes. New parts are on the way for it. I'll have to invest in some better case fans, I think. The danged thing is just running too hot.
Had a hard time getting to sleep as a result of computer woes. I really don't like troubleshooting my computer - I just want it to work. It's my primary mode of entertainment. I sat in bed until midnight before I managed to make it to sleep.
On top of the computer frustration was gaming (WoW) frustration. I was in a BRD group that I communicated to my group more than once that I wasn't on the ventrilo (audio chat program) since I was using Jay's machine. They apparently were talking there, and not bothering to tell me what was going on. We wiped at the last boss because a strategy developed to get the Emperor wasn't communicated to me. I tried my damnedest to stay alive when I was, apparently, supposed to die. And as a Paladin, I can stay alive a long time when other classes can't.
