Mr. Car, he is ill....
...so he's being looked at today.
Wednesday, after an impromtu lunch out, the car started misbehaving. It was fine in the morning; it started to bawk after lunch.
The air bag light and seat belt light started to stay on after the engine fired up, in spite of the fact that my seatbelt was latched. After 30 seconds of being lit, the seatbelt light disappeared. Then every thirty seconds (I counted), it would flash and beep loudly at me for 5 seconds. It would do this for 6 minutes straight before stopping.
Now, given that I mostly drive to work and the store and very rarely to Matthew's; that means most of all my trips would be spent with the car fussing at me. This wouldn't do. So .. it was quickly sent to the dealer's this morning.
Initial thoughts were a yadda-yadda-some-part-or-other thing. Service tech didn't know if the some-part-or-other was in, but he'd call me.
I hope it's still under warranty!
