today was two days, pre-nap and post-nap. i'm tired of thinking/talking about pre-nap sooo.... post-nap all was fantastic... woke up around 2, went to the mall and shopped and shopped, found my lost new sunglasses, got khakis and cords and jeans and new colored longsleeve shirts that are about to become my life...
AND I FOUND MY LONGSLEEVE GREY USNA SHIRT THAT HAS BEEN MISSING FOR OVER A YEAR. this is, no joke, my favorite article of clothing of my ENTIRE life, except for maybe my minnie mouse polka dot sundress i had when i was four, but this shirt, oh my life, oh my soul, i used to sit at college and think, if only i had that shirt, my favorite shirt... and now i have it! and we'll never be parted again! i am so happy!
AND! maggie my former roommate was passing through cleveland today on her way to baltimore so we got to go out to dinner! i picked her up at our pre-school teacher's house (no joke, she still lives in shaker and maggie's parents are still friends with her. and she RECOGNIZED me, she said my face hadn't changed and she'd know my eyes anywhere, and wasn't i friends with that hyperactive blonde kid brendan, ha), drove her jettastyle around shaker, my house, hb, to coventry, ate at tommy's and got balloons from the totallyridiculous flower clown, i got a giant monkey so we took pictures of it driving the jetta and those should be my facebook picture circa a few weeks from now.
tomorrow/today is bailey's birthday and i wish i'd thought to get her a dolphin balloon animal but i didn't. that would've been fun.

having way too much fun currently... sometimes just sitting and talking to people can be so enjoyable. dave just tried to tell me that the "dali lama" is 20 years old........... iididdiiotttttt. and that he'd like to go to tibet. and that when he goes to europe he wants to attach his prayer flags to his backpack. i told justin all about my medical issues. i dunno why i told him, he and i seem like we could be good coffee buddies. we banter quite effectively, and he knows enough to tell me when i'm being an idiot, which is fun because i fully confess to him when i AM being an idiot, and then he admonishes me. but he was nice, and offered me a place to stay on saturday when i'm in town, and said he wouldn't hug me after my surgery, or that since i'm short he'll just hug my head. or something.
ed taught me about chinese characters... ea went to phi psi... damn i'm too spacey right now. talking to too many.
